The CEO of WHITEROCK writes in his LinkedIn account about the value of large-scale coral transplant projects for coral reef conservation, he concludes:

“For now, the legacy of this project can be summarized as follows: The transplanted coral reef community has been given a solid chance of surviving, growing, breeding, and preserving its ability to sustain a prolific and complex marine ecosystem, while allowing the development of new marine infrastructure targeting the tourism industry market.”
